    World famous Columbian singer-songwriter <a href="">Shakira</a>, known for her multi-genre influenced music and her belly dancing, was at the White House Monday, Feb. 22, 2010. Shakira met with members of the National Security Council and the Domestic Policy Council to discuss U.S. policy toward children and early childhood development. A White House official said, Shakira, who is a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, met with the President privately to say hello after the meetings were finished.
