Political Scandals
Photos released by the Metropolitan Airports Commission Police Department show Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, taken at the time of his arrest for disorderly conduct at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in June 2007. Craig pleaded guilty to the charge of soliciting an undercover police officer in the airport men's room, but Craig later went to court to try to change the plea. The Minnesota appeals court refused to allow the change. In a public statement in 2007, Craig declared, "I am not gay," and said the only thing he did wrong was plead guilty to a criminal charge.
