A Time It Was: Bobby Kennedy in the Sixties
Life magazine photographer Bill Eppridge, seen here in February 2008, followed and photographed Kennedy during his early campaign days up to the assassination.
In the prologue of his book "A Time It Was: Bobby Kennedy in the Sixties", Eppridge writes, "Forty years ago, in 1968, I photographerd a great tragedy, and the vision of it has stayed with me for all this time."
Of Kennedy, he writes, "For the short time he existed on this earth, he inspired a generation."
