Huma I. Khan

— -- Huma Khan is a digital media producer at ABC News in Washington D.C., where she has worked since 2008.

Khan has written about a wide range of issues for ABCNews.com, including health care reform, energy and environment and immigration. She also produces senior White House correspondent Jake Tapper's, "The Shuffle" podcast.

Khan started her journalism career at the Houston Business Journal, where she was the columnist on the media and marketing beat.

Before joining ABC News, Khan was a freelance business reporter for the Kansas City Star. Prior to that, she covered U.S. and international energy markets for Argus Media, an energy trade publication.

Khan received her master's of international studies degree from the University of Kansas, where she studied economic development and conflict resolution.
