Trips Disclosed by Washington's Delegation

April 26, 2005 -- -- Members of Congress were given more than $16 million worth of trips by private corporations and non-profit organizations between 2000 and winter 2005, according to PoliticalMoneyLine. The group received the information from the clerk of the House of Representatives and the secretary of the Senate.

Here is a list of the cost of privately funded trips disclosed by Washington's congressional delegation:

Senators
Maria Cantwell (D): disclosed one trip at a cost of $2,216.
Patty Murray (D): One trip taken; costs not specified.

Representatives
Brian Baird (D): disclosed six trips at a cost of $22,099.
Norman D. Dicks (D): disclosed 16 trips at a cost of $53,235.
Doc Hastings (R): disclosed six trips at a cost of $14,132.
Jay Inslee (D): disclosed seven trips at a cost of $8,817.
Rick Larsen (D): disclosed five trips at a cost of $17,625.
Jim McDermott (D): disclosed 39 trips at a cost of $141,281.
Cathy McMorris (R): disclosed two trips at a cost of $2,489.
David G. Reichert (R): disclosed one trip at a cost of $404.
Adam Smith (D): disclosed five trips at a cost of $25,292.
