— -- GOP frontrunner Donald Trump – appearing on Fox News earlier tonight – helped officially ring in the New Year alongside his wife Melania and much of his immediate family from a party he was hosting in Florida.

When asked by hosts Kimberly Guilfoyle and Eric Bolling where he expects to be this time next year, Trump made it clear exactly where he wants to be. “I hope you’re going to be calling the White House,” said Trump, who went on to criticize the Obama administration. “We’re going to make a lot of amends for the mistakes that have been made over the years,” Trump said.

Trump also took the opportunity to bash Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton. “I think I’ll be her worst nightmare, but we’ll find out,” Trump said of Clinton.

Trump also pointed out his large lead in national polls, as he's often done throughout the race, and looked ahead to the Iowa caucuses. “We have a very big lead, and we intend to keep it. But February 1st is a very important date, that’s Iowa, and I think we’re going to do very well.”

When asked about his New Year’s resolution, Trump had an unsurprising reply. “My resolution is to make America great again and that’s what we’re going to do.”
