People tell them Wal-Mart moms and waitress moms out how to piece that relates to. That ethnic and really. -- This story of -- and Romney is one that they started. We heard after man Romney on Tuesday night you know their first department. They're there wasn't a lot in the man and yet they they -- a risk they started the business and -- they were ultimately successful and I think. What he's going to convey tonight is that that is the that is the dream that -- what he wants for every person in America that opportunity to go out there and right now in America. We actually happen. More. Women that are starting businesses -- -- those that entrepreneurial spirit is very much alive. It's just as I talked to them it's it's very difficult and and a lot of women. Are the ones around the table having you know struggling with rising gas prices and rising food prices and health health insurance costs and so they -- where all of those. Policies do -- direct impact on them and their household and their children and the opportunities that they happen -- -- as much -- weakened. As Republicans continue to say that we we recognizes cost. And that we have we have some solutions we believe that there's a better way -- continuing down the current -- -- Romney Mitt Romney's Obama was represented. It -- it wasn't successful and you a lot of what we're dropping. Department of all the time but tonight we could hear about them. Office yourself what does that -- he does it probably from a politically active Bentley on bull's -- It -- and I think it's really exciting. That his mom ran for our office and that. She was really a TrailBlazer in that regard in recent years we've seen a record number of women running for office on both sides but on the Republican side especially. When you look at twenty and we had a record number of women run for office -- Juanita and a record number that were elected to the House of Representatives. Four out of six. Women that are governors right now our republic and we have a record number of women that are in the state legislature. Legislatures and so what we're -- that women are getting more involved in politics as safe as they understand. That is not just and I think for many years women we're more focused on their community activities in their career their family and now. We're seeing we're more saying you know what I need to get involved in politics need to carve -- the time to get involved in its in -- exciting. -- -- Republican women that are getting involved running for office and doing it successfully. What about your job you'd get you get up to congress if indeed -- -- it's like it. Let's talk at -- -- -- access to deal with it like. Axes and and big -- and spending. News elected what kind of message is that it is sent to Republicans in the second it's are Republicans going to -- some sort of mandate when it comes to this. Mitt Romney if he's elected what is most appealing to me about him. Is that he has proven he knows how to get the job done the leadership that he -- From his experience as governor and the Olympics his problem solving this tremendous and we didn't we have some really tough decisions to me right so there and you've heard Paul Bryant talked about -- sure you'll hear governor Romney talked about this making a -- decisions. So -- that's true do you think that people sound. Folks at your pockets and course of the senate side these choices -- made I'm the leader now the party. Isn't it like he knew -- -- react to be -- he went that I am very confidently and record number of women that are in the state legislature. Legislatures and so what we're -- is that women are getting more involved in politics as safe as they understand. Here's what I'd like he knew how you react to be -- he went nuts I am very confident even now I've been serving as his house liaison and and he's interested in in meeting with every member hearing what their ideas are what their priorities are. -- even think even talking about Democrats that they could be reaching out to. So there there already has the two parties no where we're here to work with out across the aisle on all of these important issues and yet there are ridiculous that it -- -- -- -- -- -- That -- actually called many Democrats have made it but they are there's RD. These are against them is we're thinking through the lame duck in the first hundred days and how they're going to approach it there's a real desire. Yesterday -- it. -- -- Problems but to bring the people on and and get -- the people on the plans in place so that we can be ready to go. Right so there isn't -- strategy. That's being not I think it's important that we can. About. Your expectations then. Your part of the country has not been particularly. At least at that level and not as successful. Floor presidential candidate but the west is a real battleground this year and a lot of Latino voters as well. You know when you go see where that gap in his right now it's pretty substantial. You hear when you talk -- Republican. And Martinez city. I don't know that I feel like that public -- mean the Republicans start a fight only -- the Republican Party at each. Like. What are you what are you doing in your own job it in the house and -- -- Iran needs to be doing his campaign. -- -- You know it is its us opening up -- dark I think it is very important due to what we're doing this convention highlighting. Many of the Hispanics. Latinos that are in the Republican Party already the women. Putting that -- Forward that the Republican Party is a very diverse party that they get their people from all different walks of life all different experiences. -- believe in the principles and values that have made America great. Have lived the American dream and that's what we -- moving forward. And that it means that we need. We need people that are going to be honest with us as far as what. The role of government is and and the obligations that government has taken on an end this fiscal -- that we face. But it also that he recognizing that the Republican Party is very good person I think the more that we can continue to give. It makes America where make Hispanics -- where women aware that there's. That they are welcome in this party that there's a lot of us that are -- there I think -- -- I think this really going to help all right Kathy it.
