“GMA” Increases its Season Margin Over “Today” in Adults 25-54 Demo

“GMA” is Delivering its Widest Demo Season MarginOver “Today” in 22 Years

ABC News’ “Good Morning America” ranked as the No.1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (4.546 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.533 million) for the week of July 6, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “GMA” led “Today” (4.052 million and 1.500 million, respectively) by 494,000 Total Viewers and by 33,000 Adults 25-54.

Season to date, “GMA” is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. “GMA” is leading “Today” by 573,000 Total Viewers and by 118,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, “GMA” has increased its season margin over “Today” versus the same point last season in Adults 25-54 (+6% - 118,000 vs. 111,000).

Furthermore, ranking No. 1 for the 3rd-straight season in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54, “GMA” is seeing its widest Adults 25-54 margin over “Today” in 22 years – since the 1992-93 season.

During the week, “GMA” led “CBS This Morning” in Total Viewers (+43%/+1.365 million), Adults 25-54 (+68%/+620,000) and Adults 18-49 (+60%/+395,000).
