— -- ABC News Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross and Good Morning America anchor Amy Robach take viewers inside the inner circle of the notorious con artist, Bernie Madoff, in a one-hour special “Madoff: After the Fall” airing Thursday, February 4, 2016 (10:00-11:00pm ET). Viewers will hear from Bernie Madoff himself in rare archival footage and see new video of his wife, Ruth, as she goes about her day-to-day life after the infamous scandal. Amy Robach reports on personal secrets of the Madoff family as recounted in an emotional 2011 interview by Madoff's daughter-in-law Stephanie, whose husband Mark, Madoff's oldest son, committed suicide on the second anniversary of his father's arrest.

The special features fresh revelations in new interviews with those inside the world of Bernie Madoff including Eleanor Squillari, Madoff’s longtime secretary; Harry Markopolos, the whistleblower whose warnings about the massive scam went unheeded and Ira Sorkin, Madoff’s attorney. Additionally, in his first television interview, Keith Kelly, the lead FBI agent on the Madoff case, discloses Madoff might have been able to avoid some of the more serious charges against him if he had time to shred more of the incriminating documents.

“Madoff: After the Fall” is produced by ABC News. Roxanna Sherwood and Rhonda Schwartz executive produce.
