“GMA” is #1 for the Week in Total Viewers Leading in All 44 Weeks of the Season

— -- ABC’s “Good Morning America” finished as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (4.318 million) for the week of July 20, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “GMA” beat “Today” (4.027 million) by 291,000 Total Viewers to lead in all 44 weeks of the season. In addition, “GMA” increased its lead over the NBC program from the previous week by 27% (vs. +230,000 for w/o 7/13/15)

Season to date, “GMA” is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. “GMA” is leading “Today” by 557,000 Total Viewers and by 108,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, “GMA” is ranking No. 1 for the 3rd straight season in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54.

During the week, “GMA” led “CBS This Morning” in Total Viewers (+38%/+1.195 million), Adults 25-54 (+66%/+586,000) and Adults 18-49 (+66%/+397,000).

Emmy Award-winning “GMA,” featuring the anchor team of Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Lara Spencer, Amy Robach and Ginger Zee airs live Mon.-Fri. (7:00-9:00 a.m., ET) on ABC. Michael Corn is the senior executive producer.
