“Nightline” Also Beats CBS in Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49
Season to Date “Nightline” Leads CBS Across the Board
ABC News’ “Nightline” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.583 million) during the week of March 7, 2016, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” outdelivered CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” (1.244 million) by 339,000 and NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” (1.439 million) by 144,000.
In addition, “Nightline” beat the CBS program in Adults 25-54 (+158,000 – 622,000 vs. 464,000) and Adults 18-49 (+71,000 – 454,000 vs. 383,000).
“Nightline” saw increases over the previous week (1.458 million, 558,000 and 434,000, respectively, on w/o 2/29/16) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+9%), Adults 25-54 (+11%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%). In fact, “Nightline” delivered its strongest news demo performance in 11 weeks – since w/o 12/21/15.
“Nightline” held the No. 1 telecast of the week in Total Viewers (1.742 million) with its Friday airing (3/11/16), beating every telecast of the week of CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” and NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
Season to date, “Nightline” leads CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” across the board: Total Viewers (+298,000), Adults 25-54 (+106,000) and Adults 18-49 (+53,000).

The program airs weeknights from 12:35-1:05 a.m. EST on the ABC Television Network.
