“The View” Outdelivers “The Talk” in All Key Target Demos

For the 1st Quarter of 2016, “The View” Improves Across the Board Over Previous Quarter
ABC’s “The View” averaged 2.867 million Total Viewers, 573,000 Women 25-54 and 402,000 Women 18-49 during the week of March 21, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. For the 2nd week in a row, “The View” beat CBS’ “The Talk” (2.710 million, 499,000 and 363,000, respectively) across the board: Total Viewers (+157,000), Women 25-54 (+74,000) and Women 18-49 (+39,000).

“The View” was up over the previous week (547,000 and 399,000, respectively, on w/o 3/14/16) in Women 25-54 (+5%) and Women 18-49 (+1%).

“The View” improved on the same week last year (2.722 million and 544,000, respectively, on w/o 3/23/15) in Total Viewers (+5%) and Women 25-54 (+5%).

1st Quarter 2016:

ABC’s “The View” delivered 2.913 million Total Viewers, 595,000 Women 25-54 and 428,000 Women 18-49 during the 1st Quarter 2016, based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research. “The View” led CBS’ “The Talk” (421,000) during the quarter in Women 18-49 (+7,000).

For the 2nd quarter in a row, “The View” improved on the previous quarter (2.574 million, 521,000 and 387,000, respectively, on 4Q15) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+13%), Women 25-54 (+14%) and Women 18-49 (+11%).
