Billy Boyd, who plays Pippin in the series and fronts the band Beecake, collaborated with director Peter Jackson to write "The Last Goodbye" and Entertainment Weekly released the music video this week. The song will play over the credits when "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" opens next month.

The video of the ballad offers plenty of goosebumps, including classic scenes and behind-the-scenes footage of major characters.

The much-anticipated third installment of the "Hunger Games" opened in theaters Friday. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, a young woman trying to save her friends and family from the Capitol's wrath. Her new battle comes after she destroys the "Hunger Games," an annual fight to the death that's streamed as entertainment.

The film also stars Elizabeth Banks, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.

text: Country singer Billy Gilman opened up about being gay in a viral video.

"Being a gay male country artist is not the best thing," he said in the video, posted on YouTube on Thursday. "If people don't like your music that's one thing, but after having sold over five million records ... I knew something was wrong when no major label wanted to sit down and have a meeting and listen to the new stuff.

"I know some people won't agree with this, and that's OK," he added. "To each his own. But I felt it was time for me to be honest and to be truthful."

Gilman said he was inspired by a fellow country singer and friend who recently came out.

Ty Herndon also announced he is gay this week.
