Supervolcano in Yellowstone
Pretty sure this is how the next Hollywood disaster movie starts.
A Supervolcano lying dormant under the National Yellowstone Park has enough molten rock to cause a worldwide catastrophic event, according to a new report.
According to researchers the volcano is actually double the size of what was previously estimated and an eruption would be 2,000 times the size of the 1980 Mount St. Helen's volcano.
Researchers say that there is no sign that an eruption is imminent. We say, you guys thought the millions-year-old volcano was half its size until last month.
Oldest and Most Expensive Rum Auctioned for Nearly $128,000
Well that's one way to make a mojito.
Twelve bottles of rum fetched a whopping £78,255 or nearly $128,000 at an auction at Christie's on Friday.
The liquor dates back to 1780 and was reportedly made by slaves. The bottles were sold for six times the presale estimate and are now officially the most expensive liquor ever sold at auction.
But seriously how well is that rum going to hold up after more than 200 years?
