That's according to researchers from Ancestry.com, who reported Elle Fanning is Kate Middleton's distant cousin and also the 22nd great-granddaughter of England's King Edward III from Windsor, UK.

Fanning, 16, and her sister Dakota, 20, are apparently connected to the royal family through their mother.

Kate Middleton Faces Another Photo Scandal

But Kate Middleton's name might be trending for another reason this morning - she's at the center of a photo scandal (again) after a German tabloid a published photo of her bare backside, exposed when the wind blew her dress up.
