Just a warning: you might want some tissues before you keep reading.

Lea Michele, star of “Glee,” spoke about how her late boyfriend Cory Monteith inspired her new album. In an interview with Seventeen magazine, Michele said her song “If You Say So” was inspired by her last words with Monteith.

"It’s about my last conversation that I had with him. I spoke to a woman who lost her son, and she mentioned how grateful she was that the last words she said to her son before he died were, 'I love you.' Mine were that as well. [The song] is just about that,” said Michele. “There are lots of different emotions—if you could see this person again, what are the things you would want to say to them?”

Monteith died from an accidental heroin overdose in July.
