quicklist: 3title: Rare Ferarri Fetches $27 Milliontext: In expensive car news, a 1967 Ferrari convertible sold for a record $27.5 million at a California auction.

The auction clearly whipped fast-car aficionados into a frenzy, especially after the winning bid set the record for the largest sum of cash paid for any car bought at a U.S. public sale, according to Bloomberg.

Only 10 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4*S NART Spyder – a mouthful of a name – were made.

"They're so rare. They're among the most beautiful of all Ferraris. Some of the biggest collectors in the world own one, and Steve McQueen tried to buy this one after he crashed his," U.K.-based dealer John Collins told Bloomberg.

To the owner of the $27 million Ferrari, the Social Climber would like a ride.

quicklist: 6title: Leif Garrett and Justin Bieber, More Similar Than You Think? text: Since everyone has something to say about how Justin Bieber should handle his mega-watt stardom, former 1970s pop star Leif Garrett wants to get in on the action.

Garrett's number one piece of advice: "Do not believe your own publicity," he told Fox News.

"Sussing out who your real friends are is full-time work. Every scum bag, every drug dealer, every chicken hawk wants a piece of you," Garrett said.

Perhaps this nugget of wisdom may get through to the Biebs. You never know – maybe the next time Justin is contemplating taking a naked picture of himself, using a strategically placed guitar to cover up his junk, he'll remember he should spend a little more time figuring out how to compose himself.

We can only hope.
