Kim Kardashian was jostled on Thursday when she was leaving her posh Parisian hotel.

In a video posted to TMZ.com, a person is seen lunging toward Kardashian, causing her to briefly stumble as her bodyguards took control of the situation.

Vitalii Sediuk, a former Ukrainian television reporter who has been involved in a series of "pranks" on other stars, told the Associated Press in an email that he was the person trying to get to Kim. Sediuk claimed he was trying to hug the star.

"Hope she is OK and Kimye won't be mad at me," the Associated Press reported Sediuk said in an email.

"They're like, 'Your exercise classes are really paying off and you look great. May God continue to bless you,'" she told Letterman. "I'm a cautionary tale."
