— -- Houston Texans star running back Arian Foster has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns because of a groin injury.

Foster was initially listed as questionable on the injury report, but will not make the trip to Cleveland.

Foster suffered the injury against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9. The Texans were off in Week 10.

Playing on Sunday though, will be Jadeveon Clowney, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports. Clowney had been dealing with knee issues and an illness.

This will be the second game Foster will miss this season. He missed the Texans' Week 3 loss to the New York Giants with a hamstring injury.

Rookie Alfred Blue will start in Foster's place Sunday against Cleveland.

Also, the Browns announced free safety  Tashaun Gipson has been upgraded from questionable to probable. Gipson had been in the NFL's concussion protocol, but was cleared by an independent neurologist on Saturday. He leads the NFL with six interceptions.

Information from ESPN.com's Pat McManamon was used in this report.
