Titans owner Tommy Smith is so "smitten" with the Seahawks' organization that Seattle defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is expected to be a finalist for Tennessee's head-coaching vacancy, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Tennessee is seriously interested in Quinn despite the fact that the Titans missed their window to interview him last weekend, sources told Schefter.
The Titans are seeking a replacement for Mike Munchak, who was fired last weekend following three seasons as Tennessee's coach. Smith is said to be "smitten with Seattle" and the way the Seahawks run their organization, sources told Schefter.
The Titans cannot interview Quinn until after the Seahawks' season ends. Seattle, which had a postseason bye last weekend, hosts the New Orleans Saints in Saturday's NFC divisional round.
League executives believe Quinn is likely to land a head-coaching job after Seattle's season ends, sources told Schefter.
Vikings general manager Rick Spielman placed a call this week to Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, who gave a glowing recommendation of the defensive coordinator, sources told Schefter.
