— -- We're nearing the playoffs of the 2015 fantasy football season, and it's important to remember that roster needs vary by the situation. If you're coasting toward the postseason, the likelihood is that your drafted studs have been as expected or you were among the wise ones to claim a player such as Devonta Freeman off waivers early in the season. Going forward, your roster construction approach should be consistent: Start your studs; don't get cute and overthink things. But there are other owners who are either vying for a playoff spot or will just sneak into the postseason and face heavy odds against a top team in the opening round.

I mention that before we get into our list of Week 11 waiver adds so that you take your own circumstances into account before any potential transactions. If you need to make a move, what is it that you need out of that player? Upside? Consistency? There are a variety of traits. Size up what you need most.

Without further ado, here's the list of top waiver adds for this week.

Danny Amendola, WR, New England Patriots (21.6 percent): With Julian Edelman likely out for the rest of the regular season with a foot injury, the Patriots need multiple players to step up, and it begins with Amendola. He has three games this season with at least nine targets. In those games, he's amassed 25 catches, 270 yards and a touchdown. He's likely to see close to nine targets per game until Edelman returns -- a must-add in all leagues.

Tony Romo, QB, Dallas Cowboys (47.3 percent): He's back. That's good news for the team, as the Cowboys have slipped to 2-7 and generated next to nothing offensively with backup QBs at the helm. Romo played in one full game this season and had 22 points, but that's not the evidence needed to justify him as an add; he's proved to be one of the best quarterbacks in fantasy football in seasons past. If you have any question marks at quarterback (and right now there are only a handful of sure things at the position), take a look at Romo.

Kamar Aiken, WR, Baltimore Ravens (45.8 percent): With Steve Smith Sr. out for the season, Aiken has stepped into a leading wideout role for Baltimore. The opportunities are there for Aiken to be productive, as he finished with seven catches for 73 yards in Week 10 on 14 targets. Touchdowns can be unpredictable in fantasy football, making volume so key to consistent success. The 14 targets Aiken saw on Sunday were an encouraging sign.

James White, RB, New England Patriots (36.8 percent): White didn't have much production in his first game stepping into a bigger role after  Dion Lewis' ACL injury, but the snaps were noteworthy: He played 28, or 18 more than Brandon Bolden. I don't view White as startable at this time, but the offense is still very good, and he will be counted on to help this offense offset the loss of Edelman for an extended time.

Thomas Rawls, RB, Seattle Seahawks (25.7 percent): Take this mention of Rawls as a reminder that if you own a top running back, his handcuff is almost always a worthwhile investment. Rawls was nearly pressed into starting duties this past Sunday night, but Marshawn Lynch did suit up after a late-week abdominal issue. If Lynch were to miss a game, Rawls would be a top-15 play on almost any given week.

Denard Robinson, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars (4.0 percent): Starting running back T.J. Yeldon is in a walking boot after an injury suffered against the Ravens. Jacksonville plays again Thursday night, and it's not clear whether: (A) Yeldon will be ready or (B) how the carries would shake out, but Robinson is clearly the most talented backup to Yeldon on the roster. A deep-league add.

Jay Ajayi, RB, Miami Dolphins (9.0 percent): Another running back handcuff, but the intrigue with Ajayi extends to what he's done with his limited touches in two games: 11 carries for 89 yards. He was a big-time talent at Boise State who slid in the draft because of health concerns. Lamar Miller is the workhorse for Miami, but Ajayi is a worthwhile add for Miller owners and those who play in deeper leagues.

Joique Bell, RB, Detroit Lions (39.9 percent): I'm not ready to declare any Lions running back start-worthy at this point, but Bell had 16 touches on Sunday (compared to just six for Ameer Abdullah). Running back is a hard position to find consistency at, but Bell's role has increased a bit since Jim Bob Cooter took over as coordinator.

Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Tennessee Titans (19.5 percent): If you're looking for a Hail Mary player, Green-Beckham is still worth a peek. Justin Hunter is out for the season, Kendall Wright is hurt right now, and there isn't a ton of competition for snaps at wide receiver in Tennessee. He's a raw but athletic talent, a player who you are excited about if you own him in a dynasty league.

Marvin Jones, WR, Cincinnati Bengals (44.9 percent): When you have a defined role in a good passing offense, that alone puts you on the fantasy radar. Jones has season totals of 35 catches for 455 yards and three touchdowns, making him a reasonable pickup in 12-team leagues or larger. He's a talented pass-catcher.

Chris Givens, WR, Baltimore Ravens (2.8 percent): He found the end zone against Jacksonville as the Ravens' No. 2 wide receiver. He has plenty of speed;  Joe Flacco has played this well this season; and Baltimore's schedule includes some favorable matchups down the stretch.

Keshawn Martin, WR, New England Patriots (0.1 percent): Here's a flier name to keep in mind. Once Martin returns to 100 percent health, he could be a legit candidate for the Patriots' No. 3 receiver role. He's made a positive impression in New England since being acquired in a trade in September.

Zach Miller, TE, Chicago Bears (0.1 percent): Do I think Miller's recent hot streak (three touchdowns in two games) is likely to sustain? I do not, as touchdowns are hard to repeat, and Miller is the Bears' No. 2 tight end, but I do think he'll see more consistent playing time. If your tight end is on a Week 11 bye, he's a risk/reward investment.

Bryan Walters, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars (1.0 percent): A deep-league add if  Allen Hurns' core issue forces him to miss time. But Walters suffered a concussion on Sunday, putting his status for Thursday night in doubt.

Toby Gerhart, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars (0.8 percent): The other running back in the Jaguars' backfield who could be called upon if Yeldon misses Week 11. A deep-league add who would only be usable if we get a clear sense that he will be involved in the game plan against the Titans.
