Gators get top overall seed

— -- The Florida Gators earned the top overall seed for the 2014 NCAA men's tournament.

The SEC champion Gators (32-2) are riding a 26-game winning streak and are ranked No. 1 in the nation and are the top seed in the South region.

Arizona earned the No. 1 seed in the West region. The Wildcats won the Pac-12 regular season title but lost in the championship game.

In the Midwest, Wichita State claimed the No. 1 seed. At 34-0, the Shockers are the first team since UNLV in the 1990-91 season to begin a year with 34 consecutive wins.

After winning the ACC regular season and conference tournament titles, the Virginia Cavaliers earned the top seed in the East region.

Louisville, despite winning the first-ever AAC conference title, landed a No. 4 seed in the Midwest region.
