— -- ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and wide receiver Brandon Marshall added their names to the New York Jets' record book on Sunday -- on the same play.

Fitzpatrick broke Vinny Testaverde's franchise record for most touchdown passes in a season. He tossed his 30th touchdown on a 17-yard pass in the second quarter against the Buffalo Bills. Testaverde set the previous mark in 1998.

Fitzpatrick's scoring pass went to Marshall, giving him the team record for most receiving yards in a season. He surpassed Don Maynard's iconic mark of 1,434 yards, set in 1967. Marshall began the day needing only 59 yards to surpass Maynard.

Marshall, in his first season with the Jets, basically owns the record book for receiving. Last week, he set the mark for most catches in a season, blowing away Al Toon's record of 93 in 1988. Marshall entered the season finale with 101 receptions.
