A powerful message posted on the Los Angeles Clippers' website moments after the NBA announced team owner Donald Sterling's suspension suggests that the players wholeheartedly approve of Commissioner Adam Silver's decision.

"We are one," the message reads, standing alone on a plain black background.

Silver said Sterling admitted to being the one heard on a recording spewing racist rants, and banned Sterling from the NBA "for life."

NBA players across the league had threatened to boycott the playoffs if Silver didn't take stern action against Sterling.
