— -- Editor's note: The Big Monday Smack Talk tweets between Swin Cash and Angel McCoughtry can be found on espnW's women's basketball page once the game tips at 7 p.m. ET Monday.

Swin Cash and Angel McCoughtry were teammates who helped win gold for the U.S. women's basketball team at the 2012 London Olympics.

On Monday, they'll be back on opposite sides.

The two WNBA veterans and former college basketball stars will take to Twitter for espnW.com's Smack Talk when No. 3 Louisville hosts top-ranked and unbeaten Connecticut at 7 p.m. ET (ESPN2 and WatchESPN).

During Big Monday games on ESPN2 this season, a former player from each team will square off on Twitter throughout the contest, tweeting each other until the final whistle.

Cash ( @SwinCash) graduated from UConn in 2002 after helping the Huskies run the table (39-0) to win the national championship. She was the 2002 Final Four most outstanding player and also won an NCAA title as a sophomore in 2000. Cash, who won a gold medal in the 2004 Athens Games, was the WNBA's No. 2 overall draft pick in 2002. She helped lead the Detroit Shock to WNBA titles in 2003 and 2006.

McCoughtry ( @angel_35) also hails from the old Big East. She led the conference in scoring, rebounding and steals during her All-American career at Louisville. McCoughtry's Cardinals lost to UConn in the 2009 national championship game. The Atlanta Dream drafted McCoughtry No. 1 overall in the 2009 WNBA draft. The 2009 rookie of the year went on to lead the league in scoring in 2012, and McCoughtry is one of just two players in WNBA history (joining Sheryl Swoopes) to lead the league in scoring and steals in a season.

McCoughtry has helped lead the Dream to the playoffs each season since joining the league, including three appearances in the championship series. In the 2010 WNBA Finals, Cash's Seattle Storm team swept McCoughtry's Dream for the WNBA title. The Storm traded Cash to the Chicago Sky in 2012.

Monday's Smack Talk will have an international flair as McCoughtry will be tweeting from Turkey, where she plays in the WNBA offseason.

Be sure to follow both players on Twitter and look for their tweets with #MondaySmackTalk. Both @ESPN_WomenHoop and @WNBA will retweet portions of their Twitter chat.

Additionally, espnW's Charlie Creme ( @CharlieCreme) will host a Bracketology Q-and-A on Twitter at the start of the second half.
