— -- The NFL is trying to figure out which coaches to use in the Pro Bowl, because right now it's a mystery.

Coaches from the highest-seeded teams that lose in the AFC and NFC divisional playoff games are supposed to coach the Pro Bowl on Jan. 25 in Glendale, Arizona. However, those teams -- the Denver Broncos and the Dallas Cowboys -- have introduced some drama into the process.

The Broncos parted ways with head coach John Fox on Monday, and the team's assistants are looking for work. Meanwhile, the Cowboys have turned their attention to re-signing head coach Jason Garrett, and his assistant coaches aren't under contract.

The NFL is exploring how to address the dilemma, sources familiar with the situation said. One possible solution would be to send the coaching staffs of the Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers -- the other teams that lost in the divisional playoff round.

A league source confirmed to ESPN NFL Insider Ed Werder that Ravens coach John Harbaugh and his staff have agreed to a request by the league to oversee one of the Pro Bowl squads, if necessary.

Another source told Werder that no such request has been made of Ron Rivera and the Panthers' coaching staff.
