Elsa Benitez, a Mexican supermodel, appeared on the 2001 cover. Benitez is another cover girl who married a sports star. She was wedded for more than five years to retired NBA journeyman Ronny Seikaly. Benitez has appeared in SI's swimsuit edition five times.
