Barry Bonds Reax

Media Reaction to Bonds' 756th

San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds has surpassed Hank Aaron's home run record, hitting No. 756 Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007. However, the new record is not without controversy, as Bonds has been under suspicion of steroid use for several years.

The media's response to the new home run king ran the gamut across the country. Some newspapers cried foul, while others simply marked the milestone event. The New York Daily News definitely fell into into the former camp with this headline seen at left.
