The Lakers' former home, the Great Western Forum, lacked the quirks and tradition of the old Boston Garden, but it certainly housed its fair share of big moments, from the Lakers' title runs to Rolling Stones concerts to a number of Olympic events in 1984.
And, of course, it did have Jack Nicholson sitting courtside at all those games.
