Rex Ryan officially became the Buffalo Bills' new coach last month. On Friday, he made sure any attachment to his former team, the New York Jets, no longer exists.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Ryan had an artist change the color of his right arm -- which previously was a pinup of his wife wearing a Jets jersey -- from green to blue to correspond with his move from respective AFC East teams.

"I mean, you've got to turn the page," Ryan told the Journal.

The newspaper reported that the ink adjustment cost Ryan a mere $80 in a tattoo parlor in Arizona, where Super Bowl festivities were held over the weekend.

Ryan, 52, also told the newspaper he has given away all his Jets apparel and keepsakes, saying he was putting his New York past firmly behind him.

"I'm all-in," he said.

The tattoo originally featured a No. 6 jersey for former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, but Ryan covered over that number in 2013.

A Feb. 2 story on ESPN.com incorrectly detailed Rex Ryan covering up his green New York Jets tattoo with the colors of the Buffalo Bills. Ryan had the tattoo, which originally had a No. 6 on it, covered in solid green in 2013. At the 2015 Super Bowl, he had the green changed to blue.
