— -- While some fans were reveling in the Oklahoma City Thunder's surprising run to take a 3-1 lead over the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals, one specific part of the country was focused on what could have been.

Most notably, Boston Celtics star and Tacoma native Isaiah Thomas, and University of Washington's Dejounte Murray longed for what could have been during the Thunder's 118-94 win.

Thomas spent three years as a Huskie before moving on to the NBA, and Murray averaged 16.1 points in his freshman season and is seen as a future NBA player.

The SuperSonics left Seattle for Oklahoma City in the summer of 2008, shortly after drafting Russell Westbrook, who never played a pro game in the city. Kevin Durant played his rookie season in Seattle, as the team went 20-62.
