Florida finally converted in the red zone when Chris Leak hit Ciatrick Fason on a 7-yard TD pass to give the Gators a 20-3 lead in the fourth quarter. Fason. Florida's tailback powered his way to a career-high 210 yards on 31 carries and one TD. He also picked up 43 yards and one TD receiving.
STAT OF THE GAME: concession sales. Florida will donate proceeds from the day's concession sales at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium to hurricane relief funds.

STAT OF THE GAME: 3. Maryland QB Joel Stratham threw three picks and had three fumbles, but the Terps still picked up their third win.
