Updates/analysis (most recent first)

LeSean McCoy (12:15 p.m. ET): We already knew that Shady is out for Sunday's game. However, Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports tweeted that an "MRI showed new tear, 3-4 wk expected FULL recovery. Long as he's intent on being 100%, that's timeframe." That would be a tough blow go fantasy owners who have McCoy. Hopefully, you handcuffed McCoy with rookie Karlos Williams, who would see a heavy workload in the interim.

Arian Foster (11:08 a.m. ET): Ian Rapoport of NFL Network tweeted that although RB Arian Foster (groin, questionable) will make his season debut for the Houston Texans on Sunday, he will see "Limited/situational snaps. Then full go on Thursday". That was kind of the assumption all week, since the Texans face the Colts on short rest in Week 5. He has a nice matchup against the Falcons today, and despite the obvious risk involved in using him, should be in the mix as an RB2/Flex play.

Andrew Luck (9:04 a.m. ET): ESPN NFL Insider Chris Mortensen reports that QB Andrew Luck (right shoulder, questionable) will not play for the Indianapolis Colts. Backup QB  Matt Hasselbeck will be a genuine dart throw in fantasy. Downgrade all Colts pass-catchers.

DeMarco Murray (8:50 a.m. ET): ESPN's Britt McHenry cited a source who said that "I'd be surprised if he plays or how much they use" RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring, questionable). It sounds like he will be a risky fantasy option even if active for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Arian Foster (8:30 a.m. ET): ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that RB Arian Foster (groin, questionable) is expected to play for the Houston Texans Sunday, barring a pregame setback. He has an enticing matchup with the Falcons and comes in as our No. 8 running back for Week 4.

Andrew Luck (8:24 a.m. ET): ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter cited a source Sunday morning who said that an MRI revealed that QB Andrew Luck (right shoulder, questionable) has a bruised shoulder, but "it is trending the right way." If active, the Indianapolis Colts' quarterback could be a sneaky roll of the dice in DFS games, because he has a nice matchup with the Jags and will be underowned.

Jay Cutler (8:19 a.m. ET): ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter tweeted that the Chicago Bears are optimistic that QB Jay Cutler (hamstring, questionable) will be able to play Sunday against the Raiders. Alshon Jeffery won't be in the mix, but if Cutler plays, it would be good news for TE Martellus Bennett, who is a high-end play versus a Raiders D that has struggled to keep tight ends in check.

Eric Decker (7:52 a.m. ET): ESPN Jets reporter Rich Cimini reports that WR Eric Decker (knee, questionable) is expected to play for the New York Jets, barring a setback during warmups. Pop him into your lineups, as he should be an upside play against a struggling Dolphins secondary in London.

Official Sunday inactives should begin coming in at approximately 11:30 a.m. ET for the early set of games, 2:30 p.m. ET for the later set and 7:00 p.m. for the Sunday night contest.
