Nov. 29, 2010— -- Retailers are hoping to cash in this Cyber Monday. The National Retail Federation estimates 107 million people will shop online today, up from 96.5 million last year. Some 90 percent of online retailers will have Cyber Monday promotions.

What will they be shopping for? New York Times reporter Nick Bilton tells us the hot ticket item.

"As far as the living room, I think the Xbox is really the best bet for your money," Bilton said. "It's a gaming system, it's a new kind of remote control and it also gives you access to a number of different video channels on the Internet."

The days of doodling may be over. A study by Wilkes University professors showstexting is the new pastime in boring college classes.

And Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake are the latest celebs to sign off all social media on Wednesday, World Aids Day, to raise money for Alicia Keys' charity. They'll sign back on when they've raised a million dollars.
