ABC News Now and Prevention Magazine Contest Description

PREVENTION/ABC NEWS NOW PICTURE OF HEALTH CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES:

I. NAME OF SPONSORS: American Broadcasting Companies, Inc., 77 West 66th Street, New York, New York 10023; Rodale Inc., publisher of Prevention magazine, with offices at 733 3rd Avenue, NY, NY 10017 (Hereinafter collectively referred to as "Sponsor").

II. ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must be legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Nominees must be women who are 40 years old or older and a legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia as of the entry date.

Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for Sponsor, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the contest or supplying the prize, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

III. HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Starting on December 3, 2007, if you (or someone you know) are a woman, at least 40 years old, go to abcnewsnow.com/pictureofhealth. Fill out the entry form with name, phone number, e-mail address and any other requested information, then tell us in 250 words or less what good health means to you (or to your nominee). Your entry form information does not count toward your 250 word essay count. Then, bring your story to life by uploading a Picture-of-Health testimonial video up to one minute in length. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. January 31, 2008. DO NOT include music in your video submission unless you can provide documentation that you have obtained all necessary rights and clearances required to use the music from the performer, musicians, music publisher, writer and any other party with an interest in the materials used.

Entries remain the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.

One entry per person or nominee or email address.

Sponsor is not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this contest. In the event of a dispute over an electronic entry, prize will be awarded to the owner of the e-mail account, not the name on the entry form.
