Happy Birthday! Steve Jobs Turns 54

Born in San Francisco Feb. 24, 1955, Apple CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs turns 54 today. Driven by Jobs' vision, Apple Inc. has revolutionized consumer electronics with products like the Macintosh computer, the iPod and the iPhone. In January, after months of speculation about the his health, Jobs announced in an e-mail to Apple employees that he would take a six-month medical leave of absence. In 2004, he first announced that he had pancreatic cancer. But since a successful surgery soon after his initial diagnosis, Jobs has downplayed the condition.
