Critters Never Seen Before
The Amazonian snail-eater snake, Dipsas indica. This snake feeds on snails, which it extracts from their shells. Found in tropical South America, from the Amazon Basin to Bolivia and northern Argentina, this beautiful snake depends on closed rainforest and is thus vulnerable to any disturbance to its habitat.
