— -- It's been an explosive few months for Apple since the release of its super-sized iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and now the company's push to expand in China has reached a new milestone.

Apple unveiled its first commercial in the country ahead of Chinese New Year on February 19.

With a similar storyline to a commercial released in the United States over the holidays in December, it's easy to understand the ad no matter what language you speak.

The 90-second commercial follows a young woman who listens to an elderly relative's old record and then uses her MacBook to record the song. She surprises the woman with headphones and an iPad that plays the song.

While iPhones are manufactured in China, a hefty value-added tax has kept the devices out of reach for many consumers in the country. The commercial comes as Apple continues to push ahead in the country, with plans to open several new stores.
