Scrubbed Mission Means Cub Viewing for Shuttle Chief, Delay for Mets' Home Plate

Good news, bad news. It's been one of those weeks for Space Shuttle Cmdr. Scott Altman. His mission to repair and upgrade the Hubble space telescope has been delayed from this month to sometime in 2009, but his beloved Cubs are in the playoffs. If Altman's mission had launched in October he would have barely made it back to Earth in time for the World Series.
