— -- Elon Musk has a secret plan that could make city streets less congested by using autonomous vehicles.

Speaking at a transportation conference in Norway today, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO teased that he is working on a solution that could help ease traffic flows on city streets.

“We have an idea for something which is not exactly a bus but would solve the density problem for inner city situations,” Musk said, according to Bloomberg.

Musk said "autonomous vehicles are key" to the project and these vehicles would effectively replace buses and other mass transit options.

"I don’t want to talk too much about it. I have to be careful what I say," he said.
