— -- The Oscar winners and host Chris Rock's monologue weren't the only talking points from last night's show.

Google's new commercial for Android generated a fair amount of buzz online for its quirky tale showing rock, paper and scissors -- age-old enemies -- overcoming their rivalry and becoming friends.

While some saw it as a poignant celebration of diversity and a message against bullying, others saw it as a metaphor for the rivalries in Silicon Valley.

In the commercial, paper makes the first move by picking up rock's backpack from the ground and handing it to rock. Scissors is watching, sees the random act of kindness, and the three notorious enemies become friends, ending with the message "Be together. Not the same."
