"Icarus at the Edge of Time," a live multimedia presentation based on the Greek myth, premiered Wednesday night at the World Science Festival in New York City. The first-of-its-kind production was adapted from physicist Brian Green's children's book about a boy's journey to the edge of a black hole. The performance combines film and live performance and features a score by Philip Glass. Well-known playwright David Henry Hwang and Greene adapted the script. Al + Al (Al Holmes and Al Taylor) created and directed the film portion of the presentation. In this image, "a constellation of feathers and stars come together to form the ancient myth of Icarus in space," Al + Al said. (Al + Al/Courtesy of World Science Festival)
