A mare in South Carolina beat the odds and gave birth to two healthy foals. Erin Woodbury of the Blue Wave Stable in Indian Land, S.C., the horses' home, told WCNC of Charlotte, N.C. that horses usually do not have uteruses big enough to bring more than one foal to term. But Utah, the mare, is now the mother of foals Tahoe and Reno, born April 16, 2011. (wcnc.com)
