    By mid-January of 2007, Bill Oefelein. told Lisa Nowak that he wanted to be exclusive with Colleen Shipman. Bill Oefelein dismissed Colleen's fears when she asked, "I'm not going to have some crazy woman showing up at my house trying to kill me?" Billy told her that Lisa Nowak was happy for the new couple.

    Lisa Nowak issued this letter of apology to Colleen Shipman in November of 2009. In it she said, "I want to offer you my full personal apology for my conduct ... it was wrong of me to come to Orlando, to go to the parking lot, and to alarm you there at your car by spraying pepper spray."     Lisa Nowak wrote a Letter to Mrs Oefelein, Bill Oefelein's mom, expressing her love for Bill and her appreciation to his mother for being so accepting of them. She wrote, "Bill is absolutely the best person I've ever known and I love him more than I knew possible."
