Feb. 22, 2009 -- Louie Bellson, 84 -- Jazz drummer. Called the "world's greatest drummer" by Duke Ellington, he frequently performed at the White House with jazz icons.

Dr. Eugenia Calle, 57 -- Cancer researcher. In a 20-year career with the American Cancer Society, she led groundbreaking research linking obesity and cancer.

Conchita Cintron, 86 -- One of the first female matadors.

THIS WEEK THE PENTAGON RELEASED THE NAMES OF SIX SOLDIERS AND MARINES KILLED IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN:

Army SSG Sean D. Diamond, 41, of Dublin, Calif.

Army CPL Stephen S. Thompson, 23, of Tulsa, Okla.

Marine SSG Daniel L. Hansen, 24, of Tracy, Calif.

Army SFC Raymond J. Munden, 35, of Mesquite, Texas.

Army PFC Cwislyn K. Walter, 19, of Honolulu, Hawaii

Air Force SSgt Timothy P. Davis, 28, of Aberdeen, Wash.
