Are proud NRA member. In the state North Dakota are you willing to sign on to some of the reforms that new Vice President Biden present Obama are already talking about. You know I it's unclear and you read Washington Post stories and you listen to what the administration -- and -- I think what we need to do is we -- take a look at what happened at sandy lot. -- when I was attorney general I was tasked with a national task force on school violence we need a number of recommendations which in fact were adopted at. Sandy hook to help keep schools -- -- they -- adequate. Let's start addressing the problem and to me one of the issues that I think comes screams out of best. Is the issue of mental health and the care for the mentally ill in our country especially the dangerously mentally ill. And so we need to have a broad discussion -- it was the right now is talking about that are you willing -- my gun control as well. I think you need to put everything on the table but what I hear from the administration and if the Washington Post is to be believed that's -- The way an extreme up what I think is necessary or even should be talked about and it's not gonna pass well would you -- the other thing. -- can I point out also to the senator and I agree and many folks who have said that metal hit -- health and mental illness is an issue I agree with that. But at the same time many of those folks and not to speak to the senator's position but many of those folks have also slashed funding. For mental health care for -- -- loyalists. And they're unwilling to close the gun show loophole which would allow anyone whether -- in a gang whether they're mentally ill. To go awaited by gun with no background check -- all including the bushmaster and they are fifteen. Which we know it cost problem.
