Perched on the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula, Los Cabos (The Capes) continues to impress as one of Mexico's most visually stunning destinations. This is where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez merge, and during the winter months, the gray whale uses this area for its courtship, mating and birthing.

Dining
1. Market
The newest restaurant in Los Cabos is called MARKET and already it's creating a lot of buzz. Market is the brainchild of Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who will officially open the restaurant inside the One&Only Palmilla resort in November. The menu features signature dishes like Cubes of Chilean Salmon Toro with Lemon, Horseradish and Dill, Corn Raviolis and Marinated Cherry Tomatoes and Basil Fondue.
2. Nick San Japanese Restaurant
This local favorite repeatedly wins top honors for serving up the best sushi in Cabo. This fun and lively open-air sushi restaurant has a menu packed with creative dishes. One of the must-try signature sushi offerings is the Sashimi Serranito. Located in downtown Cabo, this is an excellent pick if you crave fresh seafood.
3. Edith's Restaurant
At Edith's Restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, it's all about service and creating a quality outdoor dining environment where you can relax and enjoy yourself. You can't go wrong trying one of Edith's specialties. A popular favorite is her Wally's Special -- grilled lobster, garlic shrimp and the catch of the day.

Upping the ante again this winter, the One&Only Palmilla continues to stay on top of its game by unveiling 13 new beachfront casitas.
