FAA Denies It Rushed to Certify Small Jets

On Friday, the review team made six recommendations for the agency. Some involved improving the process to certify very light jets, and three of them asked that the FAA take an in-depth review of some safety problems that the Eclipse planes have encountered since they went into service.

The FAA said it would act on all the recommendations, even though the review team said it found no problems of immediate concern.
