Before heading father south in advance of hurricane season, the couple stopped at the fishing village of Puerto Morelos, south of Cancun. There the couple found an "indestructible lighthouse that has managed to survive a number of ferocious hurricanes and remains defiantly standing, if a little slanted," Catherine Hockley wrote.
