Some of Dylan's paintings seem to elude loneliness and sadness but that wasn't the intent of the artist. "He repudiates completely the idea of of being soulful or lonely in his paintings," says Green. "It's quite the reverse [Dylan is content and reminds us] that sometimes it's important for all of us in our life to be quiet [and still]."
Dylan has written an autobiography and was nominated for a Nobel Prize. He was included among Time magazine's Top 100 most important artists of the 20th century and won both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for best songs.
